The Chillout Kit

Based in Southern Germany, right by the shores of Lake Constance, we are a team of designers, product developers, and parents. Bloc was born from the vision of establishing movement not as a scheduled activity, but as a natural part of everyday life. We develop “Family Movement Systems” that grow with the family and bring high-quality design to the backyard.

The frame is made of galvanized steel with a special UV-protective coating. We use a strong oval tube profile with a wall thickness of 1.5 mm, which guarantees maximum durability.

Assembly takes 4 to 6 hours for 2 to 3 people. You start by building the frame first to ensure perfect alignment. Most of the time is then spent on the groundwork—digging the holes and trenches is the most labor-intensive part

Each package includes a high-quality, illustrated printed manual. It guides you step by step through the assembly and is available in seven languages (German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Swedish).

We include a rubber mallet and the appropriate Allen wrenches (H4 and H5), though we highly recommend using a cordless screwdriver for an even smoother setup. All you’ll need to provide is a spade and a shovel for digging
Pro tip: Use a tarp or additionally the large cardboard boxes the frame arrived in to place the excavated soil on. This keeps your lawn clean and allows you to replace the sod intact once the groundwork is finished.

The Bloc Frame is installed without concrete. The legs are dug 50 cm deep, and the connecting struts are placed 20 cm deep. The holes are then filled with the previously excavated soil and tamped down firmly. This ensures a natural and extremely stable anchoring.

The system may only be installed on level grass. Installation on hard ground (concrete/asphalt) or on slopes is not permitted. The frame can be set up on an unsecured, stable surface, such as grass, provided the ground is level, firm, and well-drained. However, grass can become compacted with use and lose its shock-absorbing properties. Compacted ground does not provide adequate protection in the event of a fall.
Choose a spot away from large trees. Digging through thick roots is exhausting and can damage the tree, choosing a clear area will save you a lot of time and effort.

Choose level grass with at least 2.20m clearance from fences, walls, or branches. Pro Tip: Avoid large trees. Digging through roots is exhausting, and growing roots can shift the soil over time, potentially compromising the frame’s stability and alignment. Clear ground is best for a safe, long-term setup.

The system is TÜV Süd-certified, complies with the EN71-1-2-3-8 standard & in the process of ASTM F1148 (for home use), and bears the CE mark. The total static load capacity is up to 400 kg.

Allow for a safety zone of 2.20 m on all sides (no trees, fences, or walls). In the direction of the swing, the clear space should ideally be 4.80 m.

The Bloc Frame is designed for children ages 3 and up.
Toddlers between 9 and 36 months may use the system only with an appropriate baby swing and under constant adult supervision.
Activity toys like pull-up bars are from age 14 or 140cm height.

No, and that is precisely our concept. While the PLAY modules are intended for children, the Frame transforms into a full-fledged fitness station for adults with the TRAIN modules (such
as a pull-up bar or sling trainer). Our system is a companion for the whole family, from the first attempts at climbing to a professional workout.

The shipment will be delivered securely on a pallet via a freight carrier. As soon as the pallet arrives at your local delivery depot, the carrier will contact you by phone or email to schedule a delivery date.

The Standard Kit M weighs a total of approx. 119 kg. The weight is conveniently distributed across 4 base boxes (approx. 22–31 kg) and one extension module (approx. 10 kg). Thanks to this distribution, the individual packages can be carried through any standard front door or narrow garden gate by two people with little effort.

We provide a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty on the frame and a 2-year warranty on all components and accessories.

The frame is winter-proof. However, we recommend storing fabric parts, cables, and seats in a dry place over the winter to maximize their lifespan. Moving metal parts should be oiled regularly.
